Tyndall Pharmacy Reopening – My Panhandle

By | December 4, 2018

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – The Tyndall Pharmacy will be reopening. They will have a soft opening December 3rd through the 7th to work through new processes. The Pharmacy will expand service on December 10th.

During the soft opening, they will be able to help Tyndall Recovery Personal. On December 10th, they will be open to all Department of Defense card holders on and off the base.

The Pharmacy is located inside the main clinic in building number 1465, and will be open from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M.

New and refills  – in-person only.  The refill phone line and e-scripts program are not working.  Members can bring paper prescriptions from an off-base provider or they can bring their current bottle/package to the pharmacy to get the prescription filled.  If a member is given a new prescription from a Tyndall provider, they will not have to bring anything to the pharmacy.

The pharmacy will be rebuilding their stock levels and have only about a third of their staff currently, so expect long lines and wait time, also plan for 4 days for refills to be available. If an existing prescription needs to be transferred to the pharmacy from somewhere else, it may take longer than 4 days to get it filled.
