Sleeping in a Wrong Position Is Quiet Precarious to Health

Sleep is the most important element of human life. It not only gives muscles a sense of relaxation but is a rejuvenation of immune and nervous system. But where on one hand it is a blessing, a sweet embalmer there on the other hand improper sleep can cause many troubles. One of the most common things observed in the contemporary times is the pain in back bone occurred due to sleeping in a wrong position. This pain can be quiet excruciating leading the sufferer to sheer state of discomfort and irritation.

The origin of this kind of pain is mostly unknown and the sufferer feels intense strain on whole body but especially in the areas like arms, neck, shoulder or legs. Recently it has been testified that a normal person takes about three different positions thirty-six times a night. And some researchers argue that sleeping in a same position daily can also cause pain in back because the body needs a bit of stretching after every 20-25 minutes. Sleeping in an awkward position can also cause pain in back because it can lead a sleeper’s body to muscle spasm which is very dangerous and can cause vivid sensations of pain.

Some doctors suggest that sleeping on a hard mattress can also cause pain in back although this pain take place with the passage of time but it is very dangerous because hard mattresses can affect the alignment of spinal cord causing an incisive and an intolerable pain in back and in the neck. Physicians expatiate more on this idea and contend that sleeping in a wrong position can prove to be quiet fatal because it can increase the level of acid reflux in sleepers body and this reflux can cause lower back pain, intense heartburn, migraines, indigestion and neck pain. Sleeping in a wrong position can be much fatal that it can also cause Herniated discs and degenerative discs. Degenerative disc can cause the discs of body to shrink gradually giving birth to paralysis or the discs can become injured causing severe pain in the back. While a herniated disc can put strain on the nerve extending to spinal column giving birth to back pain which latter radiates to the butts.

Since this topic has been a matter of contestation therefore according to researchers it has been concluded that everyone should sleep on their back. It not only helps one to prevent oneself from back or other pains but also helps in the reduction of wrinkles and acid reflux, muscle spasms and other misalignments.
