  • Major clues have revealed it is Ivy Cottage, where Princess Eugenie, 29, lives

  • Portrait of Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, 33, on their wedding day hangs in hall

The Duke of Sussex and Ed Sheeran have shared a sneak peek inside Princess Eugenie’s cottage, after posting a video filmed inside the royal’s Kensington Palace home.

Prince Harry, 35, and Ed, 28, teamed up to show their support for World Mental Health Day today, by sharing a video on Instagram – filmed in an unnamed London location.

But major clues indicate the clip was made at Ivy Cottage, where Princess Eugenie, 29, lives with husband Jack Brooksbank, 33, in the grounds of Kensington Palace.

In one of the clips, Harry can be seen opening a white paneled door which is identical to one seen in images of Ivy Cottage, before inviting Ed into a hallway where there is a huge portrait of Princess Eugenie kissing Jack on their wedding day.

The three-bedroom cottage has been the home of Prince Harry’s cousin since 2017.

When she moved in, it was announced that she would be paying ‘market rent’ for the property, although the actual figure was not disclosed.

A comparable three-bedroom mews house in walking distance of Hyde Park would cost £3,500 a week – the equivalent of £182,000 a year.

Ivy Cottage is located across a small courtyard from Nottingham Cottage, the home where Harry lived with Meghan until April of this year.

Footage of Harry welcoming Ed to the property reveals a white front door with distinctive leaded glass, with previous photographs taken of Ivy Cottage revealing an identical door.

Meanwhile a black and white official portrait from Eugenie and Jack’s wedding can be seen hanging above a fireplace in the hallway.

The video also revealed the property’s trendy, yet understated, decor.

Along with the small fireplace, the hallway contains a small wooden writing desk, while a glass light shade hangs from the ceiling.

In the background of Prince Harry’s video, a doorway can be seen leading into the lounge, which is painted a light grey colour.

A sofa lined with orange cushions can be seen, and candles sit on display on a geometric black shelf, hanging from the kitchen ceiling.

Prince Harry and Ed were filmed sitting around a large wooden table, while they spoke about World Mental Health Day today.

While Ed appeared to be sitting on a bench lined with trendy red and grey patterned cushions, a small fireplace with a trendy wooden beam mantelpiece embedded into the wall can be seen behind Prince Harry.

Ed has been friendly with the royal family for years, and was long rumoured to have been injured while partying with Princess Beatrice, 31, in 2016.

He needed stitches in his cheek after it was claimed that Beatrice swung a sword over her shoulder while she was pretending to ‘knight’ James Blunt, not realising that Ed was behind her.
